I started working at Loudon Medical Centre in 2011. You will also find me at MC Landscheiding, where I have worked since its opening.
As a doctor's assistant, you have a lot of long-term contact with patients who regularly come to the practice. You build a bond with these people. As assistants, we usually take patients’ phone calls and share the assistant consultations between us. On top of this, we have many administrative tasks. It's lovely to work here as it is always busy and we a wonderfully wide range of patients in terms of age and care needs. We also assist in small-scale surgery done by our GPs, which means our work enjoys a lot of variety.
