After my studies, where I first became a nurse and then a medical doctor in tropical medicine, I trained to become a GP at MC Loudon in 2007. I subsequently worked in MC Loudon as a GP and in and around The Hague.
My experiences in tropical training in surgery and gynaecology were of essential use when it came to surgical and gynaecological activities in the Netherlands.
Because I think it's important that everyone has access to a general practitioner, I also work at Alphen aan den Rijn prison.
