Walter van Vliet | Diabetes and respiratory disease

Walter van Vliet

Hello, I'm Walter van Vliet, 43 years of age and a practice nurse at Loudon Medical Centre. In 1992 I obtained my nursing diploma in The Hague and was able to call myself a nurse. In 2010, I completed my education as a respiratory nurse at Utrecht University.

I have been working in this centre since April 22, 2007. At first, I only worked in my capacity as a respiratory nurse for asthma and COPD patients. In recent years, after my post-diploma training as a practice support staff member, I also took on the task of advising diabetes patients.

In 2016, I hope to give the PRISMA course for our centre’s diabetes patients.
